Webhooks
Coming Soon
Our webhook functionality is currently under development and will be available in an upcoming release.
Webhooks will allow you to receive real-time notifications when specific events occur in your API Hub account.
What are Webhooks?
Webhooks are a way for applications to provide other applications with real-time information.
A webhook delivers data to other applications as events happen, meaning you get data immediately.
Unlike typical APIs where you would need to poll for data frequently to get updates, webhooks will push data to your specified endpoint.
Planned Webhook Features
Event Notifications
Receive notifications for various events such as API limit warnings, usage reports, or when there are changes to your account.
Data Processing
Get notified when your data processing jobs complete, allowing your applications to respond immediately to results.
Custom Integrations
Build custom integrations that react to events from API Hub, enabling automated workflows and processes.
Secure Delivery
Webhooks will include signature verification to ensure the webhook payloads came from API Hub and weren't tampered with.
Example Use Cases
Here are some examples of how you might use webhooks once they're available:
- Be notified when your API usage approaches your plan's limits
- Trigger downstream processes when data changes
- Get alerted when new API features become available
- Automatically sync data between systems in real-time
